| CRYSTAL ICON AWARDS

Houston, Texas (September 8, 2011) The Houston chapter
of the International Special Events Society (ISES) presented the
Crystal Icon Awards show on Sunday, September 18th at the
downtown Houston Hyatt Regency Hotel. With a fresh new look and
bright colors, the event set the bar high for special events
industry. The Crystal Icon Awards recognizes excellence in the
special events industry and acknowledges the extraordinary
efforts, performance and outstanding contributions of Houston
event industry professionals.
The 2011 Crystal Icon Honoree, Chef Charles Carroll of the River
Oaks Country Club received the award for his work in creating
Operation HOT (Honoring Our Troops) which brought a team of
twenty-one celebrities and support team to Bagram, Afghanistan
for a seven hour dinner show along with two tons of gifts and
two pallets of food to feed four thousand deserving soldiers.
This year's Gala, produced by iCatching Events, featured
entertainment by Howl at the Moon, Divisi Strings, Collide, PRP
Entertainment and eMotion Bellaire Dance Company.
