1. What is ISES?
International Special Events Society. It is a group of professionals from all aspects of the event industry who aspire to make the industry more solid, respectable and ethical. Back to Top

2. How much does it cost to join ISES?
Annual membership fee is $399.00 plust a one time $50.00 application fee. The fee for Non-profit organizations is $299.00. Back to Top

3. How do I get value out of being a member?
You will have many opportunities for networking, access to other industry professionals, and opportunities for many educational programs. You also will be listed in a directory distributed internationally. Back to Top

4. When was ISES founded?
ISES was founded in 1987, in response to the phenomenal growth in the industry, a growing demand for promoting professionalism and providing continuing education. Back to Top

It was founded in 1996 with 35 original members. Back to Top

8. Who are your members?
Event planners, Decorators, Caterers, Audio-visual companies, Florists, Balloons and Baskets, Equipment/Tent rental, Decor and props, Entertainment, Photography, Transportation and many more professional companies. Back to Top

10. Can I attend a meeting if I am not a member?
You do not have to be a member to attend. You are welcomed as a guest up to three times. Back to Top

12. How can I get more involved with ISES?
You can join on of the committees, host or sponsor a meeting, attend one of the regional or international conferences, or run for a postition in the Chapter Board of Directors. Back to Top
